These Terms of Use govern your access to the Shaganappi Recovery Solutions Inc. website, online forms, embedded store, and related online content (the “Website”). By using the Website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Website.
1. About Shaganappi
Shaganappi provides structured, supportive sober living environments and recovery-focused support. Our homes are not medical facilities, detoxification centres, emergency shelters, or substitutes for licensed medical, psychiatric, legal, or other professional services.
2. Not emergency or medical advice
Website information is general and educational. It is not a diagnosis, treatment plan, guarantee of recovery, or professional medical, psychiatric, legal, or financial advice. Do not delay professional care because of Website information.
3. Applications and eligibility
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance, placement, funding, a particular home, or a move-in date. Applications may be reviewed for program fit, safety, available space, funding, references, recovery commitment, and house expectations. We may request additional information or verification. Residents and applicants remain responsible for applicable residency agreements, house rules, consent forms, payment terms, and signed documents. A signed agreement governs if it conflicts with these terms on a specific matter.
4. Accurate information
You agree to provide accurate, current, complete, and authorized information. You must not impersonate someone, conceal material safety information, or misuse a form. We may reject, suspend, or investigate submissions that appear inaccurate, fraudulent, abusive, unsafe, or unauthorized.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use the Website unlawfully or harmfully; attempt unauthorized access; introduce malware or bypass security; submit threatening, discriminatory, defamatory, infringing, or unlawful material; misuse another person’s information; or misrepresent an affiliation with Shaganappi.
6. Square store and purchases
The Shop page embeds or links to a store operated with Square and third-party payment or commerce providers. Purchases may also be subject to displayed product, shipping, return, payment, privacy, and platform terms. Prices, availability, descriptions, taxes, shipping, and promotions may change. An order may be declined or cancelled if an item is unavailable, information is incorrect, payment is not authorized, or fraud is suspected. Payment-card information is processed by the applicable provider and should not be submitted through ordinary contact or application forms.
7. Testimonials and submitted content
You retain ownership of testimonials, photographs, stories, and other content you submit. Shaganappi will seek appropriate permission before publicly using personally identifying testimonial content. Any permission or release governs the approved use. Do not submit another person’s private information or copyrighted material without authority.
8. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, Website text, branding, graphics, layouts, photographs, videos, downloads, and other content are owned by or licensed to Shaganappi. You may view and print reasonable portions for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, sell, republish, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission except where law allows.
9. Third-party services
The Website may link to or embed Square, payment providers, news outlets, social platforms, analytics, reCAPTCHA, and other services. Shaganappi does not control their availability, security, privacy practices, content, or terms. A link does not necessarily mean endorsement.
10. Availability
We may update, correct, suspend, or remove Website content or functionality without notice. We aim to provide useful and accurate information but do not guarantee that the Website will always be available, complete, current, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.

To the extent permitted by law, the Website is provided “as is” and “as available.” Shaganappi is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from Website use, inability to use it, reliance on general information, or third-party services. These terms are governed by Alberta law and applicable federal Canadian law. Subject to rights that cannot legally be limited, Website disputes will be brought before the courts of Alberta.
14. General terms
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. We may update these terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
